    The Senior position is staffed by three Physiotherapist who work part time, Nicole does all the managment activities and the others undertake clinical and educational roles. Andrea Carter and Tory Gordan are very experienced clinicians with special interests in

    Womens health, Acupunture, Dry needling, Muscluoskeletal techniques and Paediatrics. The benefit of having three people in the senior position is

    Cowra is a rural hospital. The Physiotherapy activities are varied.

    Outreach clinicAn outreach service is provided to Grenfell once a week to service inpatient, outpatient and community clients.

    Working Hours

    Hours of work Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.00pm

    ADO's every 28 days - able to take as suits

    Accommodation

    Temporary accommodation may be availalble in the Hospital accommodation area. This is very basic - a room with a bed, joint kitchen and bathrooms.

    Travel

    The FYG is required to drive to Grenfell to undertake the outreach clinic. A hospital car is provided.

    Orientation Process

    Orientation is undertaken over the first month. On first day at work you will be physically orientated to the hospital and processes. Over the next month there is online orientation to the processes and systems used within the health services.  

    Education Programs

    Weekly inservices - This is very flexible and based on time committments.

    FYG is encouraged to attend courses internally and externally. Study leave is available.

    Full range of sports including water sports at Wyangala Dam, wineries, tourist attraction.

    Annual Leave Policy

    Annual leave is able to be taken during year. There is a forced closure at Christmas for two weeks, most of this leave is public holidays and ADO's
