Working Hours

ICU/Critical Care rotation roster = 8.00am - 4.30pm Surgical rotation & medical rotation = Tuesday - Saturday Weekend roster = 1/2 or 1 day approximately every 4 weeks (may vary according to staffing).

Hospital Nurse's Home (Gosford Hospital).

Orientation Process

One orientation day in the week prior to commencement of duties. Specific orientation to each area at the beginning of each rotation. Area Health Service orientation for 1 day on the first or 2nd Monday after commencing.

Education Programs

Monthly Allied Health Inservices. Monthly Inservices for specific clinical areas. FYG inservices twice a week for 4 months. Hospital based short courses. Professional development and computing courses available through Area Education Centre. Subsidisation for external courses.

Social Activities

Staff social club with access to tennis court and gym. Wide range of recreational and sporting facilities available.
