Weekend Shifts
All staff are expected to take part in the weekend and Public Holiday roster. This is approximately 1 shift per month.

Accommodation is available in the nurse’s quarters for up to 3 months depending on availability.

We provide outreach to Lockhart MPS
Orientation Process
Please contact Emily Farquhar, Physiotherapist in Charge at Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital, immediately following allocation to confirm appointment.
Education Programs
Fortnightly departmental inservices (alternating with staff meetings) and individual tutorials as required. Numerous courses run in Wagga Wagga each year including respiratory courses and casting workshops.
Social Activities
Sport, Gyms and Large indoor pool, Cinema and Theatre, Music, Drama, Kayaking, Cycling, Running, Courses etc.
Support Mechanisms
Buddied with a senior on each rotation, regular formal supervision sessions, monthly Level 1/ 2 support meetings

Leave can be negotiated with the Physiotherapist in Charge
