FYG Clinical Rotations
2 x secondee physio's will be responsible for inpatient caseload on mixture of medical and surgical wards.
These may include:
- Ward C7 (Acute Stroke Unit, General Medical and Respiratory) 30 beds, this includes assistance of Acute Stroke Senior Physio two days a week - full day's caseload
- Ward E9 (Haematology, Oncology and Gastro) 16 beds - ~half day caseload (can surge up to 28 beds)
- Ward F9 (Cardiology, Renal and Vascular) 28 bed - ~half day caseload
- Ward E10 (Short Stay Surgical and Medical Assessment Unit) 20 beds - ~half day caseload (can surge up to 28 beds)
Working Hours
Fulltime 76hours per fortnight. Mon-Fri 0800 - 1630. No on-call or evening shifts. 2x ADO's per 10 week secondment. 3x ADO's per 11 week secondment (first and last secondment of the year run for 11 weeks).
Weekend Shifts
Covered by permanent staff, but occasional weekend shifts may be required to backfill leave. Reasonable notice will be provided in these instances. Coverage of public holiday shifts likely to be required (especially Xmas/New Year secondment).

Accommodation
Yes - paid by hospital. 2 brm self contained unit. 1 car space. A short drive from the hospital, public bus stop ~500m walk. A contribution of $50 per week may be required towards accommodation costs.

Travel
Own travel arrangements need to be made to get to secondment. An allowance will be paid on completion of the secondment to contribute to travel expenses.
