    1 Demonstrated broad range of relevant physiotherapy clinical skills and experiece

       Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, computer skills and time management skills.

    3Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    4Demonstrated commitment to professional development and the application of evidence based practice

    FYG Clinical Rotations

    3 month rotations in:

    General Medical/Surgical

    Musculoskeletal outpatients

    Rehabilitation (Braeside Hosp)

    Orthopaedics (please note the work days for the duration of the orthopaedic rotation are Tuesday -Saturday 0800 - 1630)

    Working Hours

    Work hours: 8.00am- 4.30pm / 9am - 5.30pm dependent on the rotation

    No evening work. 

    Some weekend work is required

    Parking available onsite for $7/day, staff parking at reduced rate.

    Orientation Process

    New staff are required to complete Corporate and Facility Orientation.  There will be both online and face-to-face training that will need to be completed within the first 2-4 weeks of employment, during work time. Additional orientation to each new clinical area will be provided at the commencement of each rotation.

    Education Programs

    Extensive ongoing education with regular in servicing, clinical supervision and performance management with a focus on Evidence Based Practice.  New graduates are expected to take responsibility for their own learning and will be expected to have revised and prepared adequately prior to rotation into new clinical areas.

    Prariewood Leisure Centre is a 5-minute walk from the hospital, this centre is well equipped with 2 swimming pools and a variety of gym based classes.

    Wetherill Park Stocklands is also a 5-minute walk and has a wide variety of shops, banks, cinemas and cafes.

    Annual Leave Policy

    Limited annual leave may be available during the allocation year (excluding the christmas / new year period) and depending on clinical demand and staffing resources. Consideration may be given for exceptional circumstances - please discuss with Physiotherapy Manager asap.
